In accordance with its name, Kaunispään Huippu is located 437 meters above sea-level on top of majestic arctic hill Kaunispää.

The spectacular views of almost hundred arctic hills await visitors to Lapland. In bright weather you’ll even be able to see the Russian summits. Depending on season, the summit is swathed in the vibrant ruska autumn colours, northern lights and gleaming drifts of snow in winter, not to forget about the nightless nights in mid-summer.

How to reach us?

Getting to Huippu is easy.

As it’s only 2 kilometres away from the centre of Saariselkä, you can get to us by feet, car, bicycle, skis, sled or snowmobile.

Exit Highway number 4 and  the winding road will take you through a bare arctic hill leading up to Huippu

In the winter, ski slopes, chairlift and ski tracks will also take you here. You can also walk along the road up to Huippu.

In the summer, there are several hiking and cyckling tracks available.
